Supervisory and advisory boards
The core competences of ReSteel are strengthened by its supervisory and advisory boards.
Members of the boards bring a diverse and complementary range of knowledge and skills to the company. Their experience includes prominent positions within the steel, waste management, recycling and waste separation industries, as well as in business development and clean technology.
This influential group provides ongoing support, knowledge, advice and contacts that serve to shape ReSteel's technological and strategic agenda.

Nityen Lal, Managing Director and General Partner of Icos Capital. Nityen is an accomplished investment professional with international experience as an entrepreneur, consultant and investor. His background includes investment roles at Alpinvest and Deloitte, while he has held roles as director of the board for several start-ups in California, Israel, India and Europe. Nityen has an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, (the Netherlands), an MSc in Information Science from Claremont Graduate University (USA), and a BSc in Computer Science (Cum Laude) from Michigan Tech. University (USA). Nityen is a member of the Indian Venture Capital Association. |

Martin van Domburgh former CEO and CFO of Euro scrap Alliance BV and HKS Metals BV, the largest scraprecycling company in the Benelux is now active as advisor for Resteel. Martin spend 14 years in these companies. In this role Martin has an expansive network in the scrap and metals recycling as well as an substantial knowledge of the steel and metal industrie. The last ten years was Martin active with AVR/Van Gansewinkel Group as Business Group Controller, Manager Finacial Shared Service Center and Manager Taxes, Insurance and Subsidy. Martin was for several years member of the committee of SVN, MRF and FHG. |

Daan den Ouden, former CEO of AVR, the largest waste management company in the Netherlands. AVR is a world leader on issues related to domestic collection, recycling and the separation of waste. After starting his career in the chemical sector, Daan spent 28 years at AVR, 17 of which were as CEO of the company. Under his leadership, AVR grew from a regional, government-owned company to the market leader in the Benelux, and among the top 5 European players in the sector. Throughout this period, Daan instigated and oversaw numerous international and national acquisitions and investments into innovative technologies and projects. In 2006, he led the EUR 1.4 billion management buyout of the company, in cooperation with KKR and CVC, two of the largest private equity funds in the world. In addition to his advisory role for ReSteel, Daan is currently an industry partner at Icos Capital. |

Peter Jongenburger, former CTO of the Corus Group and currently on the management board of Wuppermann, a major steel company in Germany, as well as on the supervisory board of ECN, a major Dutch research institute for energy. With former roles at Shell in the Netherlands and ABB in Switzerland, Peter has an expansive network in the mining and metals industry as well as substantial knowledge of the recycling and waste market where it concerns metals. Peter has a PhD from Ecole Polytechnique in Lausanne, Switzerland. |
